Der Heurige

The "Zeiler am Hauerweg" wine tavern is located in a property built around 1600. In 1683, this building was destroyed by fire and subsequently rebuilt over the following years. Since 1802, the house has served as the headquarters for the Zeiler family, who arrived from Franconia. In the 1990s, Wolfgang and Veronika Zeiler rebuilt and expanded the Heurigen as they stood for good food and hospitality for many years, their children now continue to run the family business in a new, modern form while preserving the typical Viennese Heurigen character.
